Last night, FTCSC hosted its final Mentoring Session of the year for our incredible first-year teachers! It has been an inspiring journey watching these educators grow, learn, and lead in their classrooms throughout the district.

This program, led by Assistant Superintendent Jeff Murphy, has been a cornerstone of support this year. We want to extend a huge thank you to the many teacher speakers who stepped up to share their expertise, stories, and "pro-tips" during our sessions. Your insights have been invaluable.

The heartbeat of this program is our Mentors. This initiative wouldn't be what it is without the dedicated, veteran teachers who served as guides, cheerleaders, and resources for our first-year staff. Thank you for your time, your patience, and your commitment to excellence in education.

To our first-year teachers: Congratulations on nearing the finish line of your inaugural year! We are so proud to have you in the FTCSC family!

Last week, FTCSC Central Office had the honor of hosting a cookout luncheon for the incredible staff at Franklin Central High School! FC continues to lead the way academically in Central Indiana. The Indiana Department of Education continues to recognize FC as a top academic high school in Indiana, and national organizations like The Washington Post and U.S. News & World Report consistently rank FCHS among the top schools in Indiana and the country.

Did you know?
• 160 teachers serving 3,300 students
• 1,300+ AP tests taken
• 8,000+ dual credits earned
• Nearly $10 million in scholarships
• 99% graduation rate

Last year’s graduating class included:
• 211 Academic Honors Diplomas
• 24 Technical Diplomas
• 48 General Diplomas
• 503 Core 40 Diplomas

FCHS also shines beyond the classroom! Their performing arts programs are among the best in the state, with recent state championships in choir, color guard, and percussion. Students can get involved in dozens of clubs and service organizations, including a 125-member Student Council. And FC Riley Dance Marathon continues its incredible tradition of earning Red Wagon recognition!

Thank you, Franklin Central High School staff, for your dedication, passion, and commitment to our students. You Make A Difference every day!

This week we proudly celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! 🍎✨

To our incredible teachers, thank you for the passion, patience, and purpose you bring into your classrooms every day. You do so much more than teach lessons; you inspire curiosity, build confidence, and help shape the future of every student who walks through your doors.

Through purposeful learning and meaningful collaboration, you make a difference in the lives of students, staff, and the community. Your impact extends far beyond academics—you create safe, supportive spaces where students feel seen, valued, and encouraged to grow.

Even on the hardest days, you show up with dedication and heart, adapting, encouraging, and believing in your students’ potential. That commitment does not go unnoticed.

We are so grateful for all you do, today and every day. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! ❤️
