Managing high school is a full-time job — unless you are FC Junior Shelby Lambrecht. Along with classes, track, and church, Shelby also runs her own decorative goat milk soap business. What started as a 7th-grade gift turned into a business shipping soaps across the country. Her story is proof that big dreams and hard work can go hand in hand.

FC is proud to report a 98.64% high school graduation rate, once again placing us among the top districts in the state. This achievement reflects the dedication and collaboration of our entire FTCSC Flashes Community.
Today, we especially celebrate our FC Counseling Department—you are Difference Makers. From academic planning to social and emotional support, our counselors’ dedication, advocacy, and tireless efforts guide students through every step of their journey to graduation. Their impact is evident not only in FC’s continued leadership at the state level for graduation rates, but also in the lifelong difference they make through countless meaningful interactions with students.
While we spotlight our outstanding FC counselors, we also recognize that graduation is the result of years of support from teachers and staff across our entire FTCSC K–12 Flashes Community. Every interaction matters, and every role plays a vital part in supporting our fantastic students.

We hosted our third FTCSC President’s Collaboration Meeting of the year, bringing together the presidents of our parent-teacher organizations, parent booster groups, the Franklin Township Education Foundation, and Franklin Township youth sports leagues.
The evening featured a State of the District presentation by Superintendent Dr. Chase Huotari, followed by an engaging overview of our police department presented by Officer Tony Rizzi and an insightful presentation on school finances and budgeting by Chief Operating Officer Mr. Fred McWhorter. Participants also had the opportunity to tour Kitley Intermediate School and see the renovations that have taken place.
The meeting concluded with meaningful collaboration and the exchange of ideas among these dedicated leaders. We sincerely appreciate our community partners and value the strong relationships that continue to strengthen the FTCSC Flashes community.
