Last week, FTCSC Central Office had the honor of cooking lunch for the wonderful staff at Kitley Intermediate School!
Did you know? Kitley has come full circle!
Originally opened as an intermediate school, Kitley later became a K–5 elementary, and today, it is proudly an intermediate school once again.
With recent renovations adding 12 new classrooms, a brand-new cafeteria, gym, and expanded learning spaces, Kitley is built to support its thriving community of 1,400+ students.
From strong academics to athletics, performing arts, and an incredible lineup of clubs, there is something for everyone - from Lego Robotics, VEX Robotics, Girls on the Run, Student Council, Girls Who Code, Junior Thespians, Band, Choir, Orchestra, and so much more.
Plus, 6th grade students can jump into eligible sports at Franklin Central Junior High, getting a head start on their next chapter!
Kitley is more than a school, it’s a place where students explore, grow, and shine.

Did you know? Edgewood Intermediate School has just over 1,300 students who are supported by nearly 130 teachers and staff. Edgewood was originally built to be an intermediate school. When FTCSC closed two elementary schools, Edgewood was turned into Franklin Township Middle School West. Now our building has returned to its original concept. This is the 4th year Edgewood Intermediate has been serving the 4th-6th grade families of FTCSC.
Our school is rich in diversity and is always focused on creating an outstanding intermediate school experience.
With nearly 36 countries and 36 different languages represented in our building, Edgewood is a special place for our students to grow and learn. Each day at Edgewood, we strive to ensure our school family is focused on being Safe, Responsible, and Respectful.
