Before students returned to classrooms across the district, FTCSC staff came together for a powerful and unifying start to the 2025–26 school year. This was the district’s first full-staff opening meeting in several years, bringing educators and support staff from every building under one roof to reflect, reconnect, and rally around a shared purpose.

The morning kicked off with two outstanding performances from High Voltage and the FC Singers, setting an energetic and uplifting tone for the day. Their talent and enthusiasm captured the spirit of the FTCSC community and reminded everyone of the powerful role the arts play in bringing people together.

More than 1,000 staff members filled the auditorium at Franklin Central, creating a visible reminder of the collective impact they have on students, families, and one another.

The gathering also marked the launch of the district’s strategic mission:

Together, we make a difference in the lives of students, staff, and the community through purposeful learning and meaningful collaboration.

A video featuring voices from across FTCSC brought this mission to life, highlighting how it already shows up in classrooms, cafeterias, buses, and beyond. The energy in the room reflected a deep commitment to that purpose and a strong sense of momentum for the year ahead.
